THE FINALS, a project from Embark Studios and NEXON is free to play, regardless of the platform, and is now available on all platforms, including Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.

As THE FINALS launched unexpectedly after the 2023 The Game Awards on Dec. 8, 2023, many fans are downloading and playing it.

Does THE FINALS have microtransactions?

Like most free-to-play games, THE FINALS does feature microtransactions. This means you will have to spend real-world money to buy the currency used in THE FINALS, which is called Multibucks.

There are currently five Multibucks packs you can purchase. The bundles and their cost (in USD) are as follows:

  1. 500 Multibucks: $4.99
  2. 1,150 Multibucks: $9.99
  3. 2,400 Multibucks: $19.99
  4. 6,250 Multibucks: $49.99
  5. 13,000 Multibucks: $99.99

As soon as you download and load into THE FINALS, you can access the store, where you can purchase skins, the battle pass, and other items to customize your gameplay experience. Since the shadow launch, however, one of the coolest new additions to THE FINALS has been cosmetics, specifically animations.

These animations can change your character’s animations, from how you inspect your weapon to how you reload your gun. And, of course, there are packs you can purchase as well.

If you’re ready to start playing this high-stakes and fast-paced FPS and win the hearts of your viewers, you can download it on any of the platforms for free.
